Gray's first stomach flu and Daxtins first Cold :(

This week has been though already not having daddy around to help. Daddy went to florida for a week with unle Troy just before he starts his new job! It was my idea in the beginning and totally supported it and the week would have been fine with out him if the boys didnt get sick but it turned out to be one of the most exhausting weeks ever!! What are the chances that the one week out of the whole year Cody is gone Gray gets his first stomach flu and Dax gets his first cold????? WHAT THE HECK!! Grandma took Gray for the day on Wednesday and by the afternoon Gray was vomiting and in the middle of the night had diarrhea. It was a blessing in disguise that we had planed a sleep over that night because if I had him for the night I think i would have about died. That was Graydens first EVER sleepover!! yep at over 2 years old he had his first sleepover at grandmas.

It was horrible to think I wasn't with him when he was so sick but I honestly know I probably would have had a melt down if I was up all night dealing with it along with getting up with Dax. I was already exhausted by Wednesday with out Cody that it would have thrown me over the edge.

I took Gray to the docs in the afternoon and then brought him back home with me. He was laying around all day and sleeping here and there when he felt like it. He had a few diapers of diarrhea and at about 2am he through up again. It was an exhausting night but I was lucky to have tara-lynns help. I came down with a really high fever that night and I was so worried about Dax catching it.

By Friday I was so mentally exhausted with all the worry with my boys and obviously physically exhausted i was so ready for Cody to be home. When I saw him I ran outside to give him a hug and it just hit me...I broke down and It was just a big outpour of RELIEF!! I haven't been that drained in a long time!! LoL and Im so glad to have him home !! That won't happen again when our babies are so young LoL...We both learned our lesson.
