Happy 4th month Daxtin
Daxtin is 4 months old today and getting bigger and bigger by the minute!
He has changed so much this month its crazy! You can fully support your neck and your back! You have found your feet and love to grab at things (partiicularly your goods) LoL.....diaper changes are so frustrating with you! As soon as we take off your diaper you IMMEDIATELY grab for the goods over and over again..... it looks painful so we have to have two peopel change you or else its pretty difficult to tie your hands down and change you at the same time!
You are such a good sleeper. You usually fall asleep for bed around 9:30/10Pm and you are put in your crib. You wake up around 3am and back to bed until everyone else gets up. I usually bring you back to bed with me because I nurse you and usually fall asleep but sometimes I have the energy to put you back in your crib for the rest of the night. This month you also stoped needing changed during the night. After you eat your right back to sleep and dont complain. Most of the time your diaper feels completely empty as if you don't even go to the bathroom in the night.
Days are getting alot easier with you now that your a little more independent. I can sit you in your bumbo and you watch me cook dinner. You like to just lay on the floor and explore the enviroment around you. Your brother and the day home kids can capture your attention for a while. So its been a little easier for me lately.
You caught your first cold this month too :( You just had a congested nose and a bit of a cough that bothered you at night.
You are such a happy baby!! You love to smile and to giggle and you are so much fun to play with. You love to be interacted with and hate feeling like your alone in the room. If someone walks away from you, You start to cry and its the sadest cry in the world. You love to be held and cuddled! I love that too :)

Gray's first stomach flu and Daxtins first Cold :(
This week has been though already not having daddy around to help. Daddy went to florida for a week with unle Troy just before he starts his new job! It was my idea in the beginning and totally supported it and the week would have been fine with out him if the boys didnt get sick but it turned out to be one of the most exhausting weeks ever!! What are the chances that the one week out of the whole year Cody is gone Gray gets his first stomach flu and Dax gets his first cold????? WHAT THE HECK!! Grandma took Gray for the day on Wednesday and by the afternoon Gray was vomiting and in the middle of the night had diarrhea. It was a blessing in disguise that we had planed a sleep over that night because if I had him for the night I think i would have about died. That was Graydens first EVER sleepover!! yep at over 2 years old he had his first sleepover at grandmas.
It was horrible to think I wasn't with him when he was so sick but I honestly know I probably would have had a melt down if I was up all night dealing with it along with getting up with Dax. I was already exhausted by Wednesday with out Cody that it would have thrown me over the edge.
I took Gray to the docs in the afternoon and then brought him back home with me. He was laying around all day and sleeping here and there when he felt like it. He had a few diapers of diarrhea and at about 2am he through up again. It was an exhausting night but I was lucky to have tara-lynns help. I came down with a really high fever that night and I was so worried about Dax catching it.
By Friday I was so mentally exhausted with all the worry with my boys and obviously physically exhausted i was so ready for Cody to be home. When I saw him I ran outside to give him a hug and it just hit me...I broke down and It was just a big outpour of RELIEF!! I haven't been that drained in a long time!! LoL and Im so glad to have him home !! That won't happen again when our babies are so young LoL...We both learned our lesson.

Daddy built you a playground!
Well we got a really good tax return this year and with some of the money we decided to buy the kids a play ground for our backyard. We were so excited to buy it and daddy was so excited to put it together! He did such a good job and with a lot of patience and hard work he had this thing built in a week! He had a little help from Uncle rylann and Alex but he pretty much built it all by himself. Daddy is so proud and so is mommy! You LOve it so much and its so nice to have our very own playground in our very own backyard. Dax will get use out of it in a month or so when he can go on the swings. It was either a trampoline or the playground and since we are now so far from the playground we decided to go with that. If we had a trampoline you all couldn't go on at the same time and with the playground you all can be doing somthing at the same time and we figured we get way more use out of it. The day home kids love it too and that makes my life soooo much easier :)
Here are some pics of our playground :)
